ARMORMAX® for Erosion Control & Slope Stabilization
ARMORMAX® Engineered Earth Armoring System™ is composed of High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mats (HPTRMs) and Engineered Earth Anchors™ (EEA) that work together to lock soil in place and protect against hydraulic stresses and improve slope stability. This system provides dynamic erosion control and slope stabilization solutions.
- ARMORMAX® is aesthetically pleasing and outlasts other conventional hard armoring methods such as rock riprap, concrete blocks, fabric formed revetments or paving, making it a more cost effective option. Available in green or tan to complement the natural surroundings.

- Installs easily and rapidly with the use of lightweight equipment, reducing time and labor costs.
- Engineered Earth Anchors™ (EEA) are manufactured from corrosion resistant material that is connected to a zinc-aluminum coated carbon steel or stainless steel tendon. As pressure applied to the soil by the ARMORMAX system increases, a body of soil above the anchor is compressed, providing resistance to anchor movement and permanently securing the mat in place.

PERMANENT EROSION CONTROL SOLUTIONS
High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mats (HPTRM) are constructed from high strength UV stabilized polypropylene fibers that are continuously woven into a lofty three dimensional pyramid matrix. This construction facilitates vegetation growth by allowing surface water to infiltrate the seeds that are locked into place by the special fibers in the mat. The root mass develops rapidly, thereby stabilizing the soil. In addition, HPTRM’s are stronger and more durable than traditional TRM’s, allowing them to withstand the demands of various climates.

Stitch-bonded turf reinforcement mats are constructed from UV stabilized polypropylene fibers that are stitched between two heavy duty nets. High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mats capture water, soil and seeds. This enhances vegetation establishment while providing an effective form of long term erosion control.
